June 1, 1979 is was a cold and stormy night........ Just kidding. Yesterday was my big brother Dallas' birthday. He and his cute little family invited me and the rest of the gang including Grandma Matthews to have a small get together at their humble home after Church. Little did I know that this little get together was going to be one of the funnest birthday parties I have been to in a long long time. We started off with a nice walk through the local cemetery. There were a lot of pioneer graves and it was interesting to see when they lived and for some how short of a time. Then when we got back it was cake and ice cream time and let me just tell you Dionne is an amazing cook and we had cookies, (which Dallas claimed he made) brownies, and cheesecake. It was so good. Then it was PRESENT TIME!! One of his gifts was a balloon set. This is how it works. You take the pump and pump up the balloon, you don't tie the balloon, you hold on to it and then you let it go and the balloon flies around everywhere in the sky. It's awesome!! Then we played on the swing set and tried to take funny pictures of us when we were jumping off the swings and we finally decided to take video of it. It's a kick in the pants.
